It is so important to build on a solid foundation. If the foundation is not good, everything built on it will eventually collapse. But if we build upon the solid foundation of what God has done in Christ Jesus, there can be no wavering in our lives, and nothing can rob us of that assurance of eternal life.  What love, what joy, what peace, and what hope, floods our lives as a result.

Problems on the way? Oh, there may be many, but nothing - absolutely nothing can shake our foundation – or our lives.

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, wehavepeacewithGod through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)

The Apostle Paul lists all sorts of trials which might come our way. (Romans 8:35-39)

But none of these, he says, shall be able to separate us from the love of Christ Jesus. Nothing in the present, nor even things to come.

We may not know the future but we can be certain of this assurance. Jesus is mine and I am His.
