Sometimes simple truths are buried like little treasures in places that might not be so obvious or so well-known.  Consider these wonderful truths in this challenging, but little-known poem penned by that most famous of poets:  A.Nonymous.

Don’t talk about things you are going to do
Don’t say that you mean to be noble and true
Don’t wait till tomorrow to make up your mind
That you’ll make others happy, and always be kind;

For tomorrow you will talk as you have today
And your good resolutions will soon pass away.
Do it now - let the world see that you mean to be true!
And do not talk of the things you are going to do.

God has called us to act honourably and justly and promises us His peace as we are faithfull in these things:

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.  What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
(Philippians 4:8-12)

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4: 7)
