Characters: Two friends - Hannah and Jacob waiting at a bus stop.
Hannah begins franticly searching through her bag and becomes increasingly distressed, as she searches.

Hannah:
“Oh, dear. Where is it? What have I done with it? I’ll have to go back and get it”

Jacob:
“But we’ll be late if you go back now – we’ll miss our bus. Anyway, what have you lost?”

Hannah:
“I have to go back and get it. I’ll need it later.”

Jacob:
“What? What will you need?”

Hannah: (getting more upset)
“I always have it with me. – I’ll be lost without it!”

Jacob: (even more upset)
“What? What will you need?”

Hannah:
“Well, you know me – I am always flipping it open and checking it.”

Jacob:
“Well, it’s too late to go back just for your mobile phone. We’ll be late.
You can use mine.”

Hannah:
“But what about my texts?”

Jacob:
“You can use my phone.”

Hannah:
“But what if I need it in an emergency? I totally depend upon it!”

Jacob: (almost shouting)
“Use mine. I told you - you can use my phone!”

Hannah:
“Phone? Why would I need to use your phone?”

Jacob:
“Because you just said that you had left yours at home.”

Hannah:
“No, I didn’t”

Jacob:
“Yes, you did. You said that you totally depended on it!”

Hannah:
“I never mentioned my phone.
Anyway - I don’t depend on that!”

Jacob:
“Well, what have you been searching for? What have you been rummaging through your bag for?
You mentioned texts - and how you might need it in an emergency.”

Hannah:
“I wasn’t talking about my phone. That’s right here in my bag.”

Jacob:
“Well, what are you talking about? What is it that you need so badly?”

Hannah:
“Why my Bible, of course. My Bible is far more important to me than my phone!
Unlike my phone, I don't have to worry about my Bible being disconnected - because Jesus has already paid the bill.
And He always answers when I Trust in Him and “ASAP”

Jacob:
“ASAP – what’s that?”

Hannah: (as she walks off stage – leaving Steve looking bewildered)
“Simple - Always Say A Prayer.”
