One day a little boy was out flying his kite. It was a fine day for kite flying - warm with a brisk wind and large, billowy clouds blowing across the sky.

After running and along with his kite to get it started, it began to rise a little and then the wind took hold, and the kite went up and up, until it was entirely hidden by the clouds.

“What are you doing? Asked a man who was passing by.

“I’m flying a Kite.” The boy replied.

“Flying a Kite? I don’t think there is a kite at all. said the man. “And how can you be sure? You can’t see the kite either.”

“No,” said the boy. “You are right, I can’t see it. But every little while I feel a tug on the line, and I know for sure, that it’s there.”

Some people behave like this man and they choose to not to believe in the presence and even in the existence of God.

But don’t be fooled and let other people’s unbelief, stop you from connecting with God.

You can get to know God and His very real presence in your life by inviting His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into your life.

As you confess all sin to God in prayer and trust that Jesus paid the price for your sin through His death and resurrection, then you too will know His presence in your life by the wonderful, warm tug on your heartstrings, that He is there, for you, for sure.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.  (Psalm 73:26)
