Hungry for The Word

On one of the many occasions that we had our Saturday morning ‘Ladies Breakfast’ at our church, the special guest speaker was none other than Fiona Castle. Fiona is the wife of the late Roy Castle – that incredible all-round entertainer, now in the presence of the Lord. Roy was a lovely Christian man and he and Fiona raised a lovely family with their children all serving the Lord. And what a lovely lady Fiona is. I was so blessed to be sat at the same table that she sat at when we started our breakfast.
Fiona had visited many churches telling the wonderful story of her life and marriage to Roy. Her books have blessed many people, particularly women. Fiona had a wonderful life-changing experience when she came to know Jesus.
After we had finished our delicious breakfast, I went over to Fiona and spoke with her, and thanked her for what she had shared that morning which greatly encouraged me in my faith.
What a wonderful ministry she has. I would encourage any woman to read one of her books – you will be built up in your faith and challenged to walk closer with the Lord Jesus.
Are you hungry for what the Lord has for you? Read your Bible, His word, every day and continue to pray – give Him your heartaches and troubles - so come and don’t delay.
