Don't be too late.
Back in the nineteenth century, two great authors - William Makepeace Thackeray and Charles Dickens became friends and held great admiration for each other.
But one day, the two friends had an argument, as friends sometimes do, and their argument became heated, and they parted with angry words.
When next they met, each pretended not to see the other. Not long afterwards, they came face to face, when each glared sternly at the other, and marched on.
Then Thackery suddenly turned back, rushed up to Dickens, seized his hand, and exclaimed that he could not think bitterly of him any longer. Dickens, deeply moved, embraced him and they were friends again.
Within just a few days, Thackeray had died.
How thankful Dickens was that they had become good friends again ‘Just in time.’
We all have so little time in this life – far too little to hold grudges or ill-feeling towards each other. If you have a quarrel, put it right as soon as you can as muchfor your own sake, as for the other party. And before it is too late.

Consider the wisdom in God’s Word – and live each day if it is your last!
You do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.(James 14:4)
For who knows what is good for man while he lives the few days of his vain life, which he passes like a shadow? For who can tell man what will be after him under the sun? (Hebrew 6:12)
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)
And remember - to make things right between you and God. Get right with Him before you are too late!
