I had it a while ago and I just can’t understand where it has gone!
Hope.
We all need it. But do we have it?

The Bible urges us to find our hope in God - not in our circumstances, or in our natural optimism (or pessimism) nor in our family or friends - but in God.

How is this possible? Well, it happens when we realise and accept just how much God loves us. His love is a love so deep, that He gave up His only begotten Son - His life for ours. (John 3:16)

It happens when we realise that this life is not all there is, but ahead of us there is Heaven – if we only know Christ.

Is your hope in Him - both for this life and the life to come?

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
(Psalm 42:5-6)
